My name is Michaela Lehuanani Larson, and as a Kama'aina, I am deeply rooted in this land and the spirit of Aloha. My family has a rich tradition of performing traditional Hawaiian ceremonies, instilling in me the knowledge and insight necessary for conducting authentic and heartfelt Hawaiian ceremonies. I have devoted my life to the preservation and celebration of the Hawaiian culture, and I am eager to collaborate with you to craft the perfect beach wedding or vow renewal ceremony.
My commitment as a Kama'aina extends to sharing the profound beauty and significance of our culture with others. My aim is to create a ceremony that not only commemorates your love and commitment but also embodies the true nature of Hawaii. Step 2: Secure Your Spot!
Is your date free? Fantastic! If you're ready to seal the deal before our chat, let’s book it and make it official.
Here’s how:
- Text or email Michaela your love story details (both your names, ceremony date, time, and place) to the same contact info.
- You'll get a deposit request to lock in our date together. Your dream day is officially on my calendar once the deposit clears! (Payment via Credit Card, Venom at Michaela-Larson-7, or Zelle).
- Full balance is due 14 days before your ceremony sparkles into life.
Step 3: Let's Talk Dreams!
Prefer a heart-to-heart about your big day before committing? I'm all ears! Schedule a call to dive into options and ensure I’m the right fit for your sacred celebration.
Step 4: Marriage License Magic (Not for vow renewals or already hitched lovebirds)
- Apply Online: Start with the online application (fee: $65, valid for a year) at http://health.hawaii.gov/big-island/home/vital-statistics/marriage-civil-union-license/.
You'll need my Performer License: Michaela Larson 2013-02829.
Simple Steps to Getting Your Marriage License:
- 30 Days to Go: Book a meeting with a State of Hawaii Licensing Agent (fee: $5). No walk-ins, appointment only!
- Wedding Day: Bring your license to the ceremony for the official signing.
- **Post-Ceremony: I'll ensure your marriage is officially recorded with Hawaii, I will email a copy of the Finalized document. You must review and confirm that it says Finalized on the top left hand corner of the Finalized Marriage Document. Expect the official document in your mailbox within 10-20 days.
